Directions: Examine each image from the perspective of a British supporter of imperialism and also from the perspective of an Indian who does not support imperialism.
The following image is an early form of photography taken around 1895, by which time Great Britain had complete control of all aspects of India. One of the major achievements of the British in India was the construction of one of the largest railroad networks in the world.

- How might an Indian view this image?
