Unit 1: Redefining World Society and Culture

Lesson D: Life and Times in the Pre-Modern World

Activity 12: Putting the Civilizations Together

In this lesson, you have learned about different aspects of pre-modern civilizations. In this activity, you are going to choose any one of the civilizations that we have examined in this lesson and complete a full PERSIA chart about it. We did not review every cultural aspect about every civilization. This means that you will have to follow your teacher's directions about doing any additional research so that you are able to complete your chart. When you are done, you will share your chart with other students. Remember, when you share your chart with other students, you have both a responsibility to teach them any information that they do not know. You also have a responsibility to learn the information that your classmates share.
