Military activity in World War I started in a relatively small area and involved only a few countries. Throughout the war, even though the number of countries involved grew, only a few key locations actually saw battle. These areas are known as the theatres of war.
Directions: Consider the following questions as you view the presentation.
- What are the five fronts and how much do they overlap in terms of where they are in the world?
