During this lesson we will explore an economic revolution that transformed the world starting in the 19th century. Discoveries and advances that improved the standard of living for many people played an important part in this revolution. Similar changes have occurred during recent years. In order to better understand the transformations of the 19th century, you will first think about changes of the late 20th and early 21st century.
