Opening: Nationalism, Individuals and Change
Until World War II, there were only a few countries outside of North America that were not colonized by Europeans. This changed after World War II ended when countries in Asia, Africa, and elsewhere began to declare their independence.
Throughout this course, you learned how individuals and groups have brought about change. You have also learned about the role of nationalism and individual leaders in changing the political, economic, and social aspects of a country. The following assignment will help you recall examples of the impact of reformers, nationalism, and individual leaders on a country.
