Imperialism in Southeast Asia

During the era of imperialism, Great Britain controlled South Asia. Notice on the map that Great Britain also controlled parts of Southeast Asia. France controlled a section of Southeast Asia known as Indochina. Notice also that the country of Siam (modern day Thailand) was not under the control of any European power.
