The Renaissance saw significant changes to art and architecture in both northern and southern Europe. The scientific and cultural changes can be seen in the works of art themselves, as well as in the political and social conditions present throughout Europe. The roots of these changes can be traced to the Classical Periods of Greece, Rome, Han China, and the Golden Age of the Islamic world. Think about these examples as you complete the BCR below.
