The origins of the Enlightenment can be traced to the earlier Scientific Revolution and Glorious Revolution in England. The thinkers of the period took advantage of printing press technology to publish and spread their ideas to a growing audience. In order to understand the basic messages of the period, we will look at a series of primary sources.
